Fire Cured Tobacco

Dip and Chew are smokeless tobacco product that are unique to America for a few reasons. The first is due to the fact that the tobaccos used in Dip and Chew are 100% American grown, usually from places like Kentucky, Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Virginia. Another reason is in the way the tobacco is cured. Tobaccos for Dip and Chew are fire cured which is a process where once the tobacco leaves are picked and dried, it’s hung in large barns where workers build smoldering fires made from either Oak or Hickory sawdust, depending on the flavor the tobacconists are trying to create. Once lit, the tobacco is allowed to absorb the smoke for up to 12 weeks. It’s this smoking process that gives Dip and Chew it’s distinct flavor that can only be found in American smokeless brands.
